The symposium will bring together prominent and diverse researchers on April 26­–27, 2021, for talks and poster presentations covering the latest advances in fundamental and translational research on Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, frontotemporal dementia, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and other neurodegenerative disorders. [“Neurodegenerative Diseases: Emerging mechanisms and Therapeutic opportunities,”](https://rupress.org/pages/RUPNeuro) will feature live-streamed presentations, networking, and a virtual poster hall. The Morressier platform also allows content to be hosted and searchable in an online library after the event, increasing its impact. “Because so many meetings have switched to a virtual format over the past year, attendee expectations of the online experience have evolved,” says *JCB* Senior Scientific Editor Melina Casadio, a co-organizer of the neurodegeneration symposium. “We felt that Morressier’s interactive platform and its track record of working with scientific societies and institutions would enable us to provide the best virtual event.
