The theme of the society’s 2020 meeting is *How to prepare for the Digital Age* and the October 24 event is (fittingly) taking place in a fully-digital format. EUSOMII has engaged Morressier's abstract management, poster submission, and virtual conference tools to livestream the event. Follow the discussion in real-time on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/EuSoMII). ‍ ### **FEMS Online Conference on Microbiology 2020** The upcoming FEMS Online Conference on Microbiology 2020 (October 28-31) brings microbiologists together to share their knowledge and work on ways to advance microbiology for the benefit of society in the areas of health, energy, food, materials, and the environment. For the first time, the event will take place virtually, featuring live sessions and pre-recorded poster presentations. In 2020, Morressier is partnering with The Charleston Conference to display posters from the event in an online content repository. From November 19-21, the congress will take place virtually, featuring an online poster gallery and pre-recorded poster presentations.
